So, here are the pictures I promised from the painting project for Jaiden's room. Remember, this project was planned over a year and a half ago (for our other house) and is just finally getting done. YEAH.....I know! First we started by painting the blue.....
Then we added the grey. I painted stripes on the road and put up borders....
Jaiden got to help by putting up the stickers on his door and peeling the stickers for the wall....
I absolutely love these grate borders.
Lastly, I added a few finishing touches....the shrubs on the side of the road....
the stop light (still gotta get the red paint)...
and the sun around the light fixture. I am especially proud of this one!
So here is the finished product....sans the furniture being back in place.
The Adventures of Boomerbomb....
Jaiden has really gotten into Transformers in the last year. He has such a vivid imagination that he has even come up with his own transformer....Boomerbomb.

Tales of GoKarts and Golfing
The day before Jamie and I got really sick from some icky stomach bug, we took Jaiden to the local Miniture golfing place and had some fun in the beautiful weather. Jaiden had been mini-golfing with us before because we had several in the Tri-Cities.....but he had never been on a GoKart before! You can imagine how geeked out he was about them when he saw them! So, dad took him on his first ride.
He was definitely ready for this with his shades and his hat on backwards!
When the ride was over, we did a little golfing. Jaiden has really improved on his ability to hold and swing a golf club. He wouldn't let us help him this time at all!

More ZOO pics!
I completely forgot that there were more pictures and thus the reason why the last post was a draft!! The cool thing about this trip to the zoo was that Jaiden did the things that he wouldn't do before when we took him to the zoo. He rode on the Carousel....
AND......RODE THE CAMEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A Day at the Zoo!
Well, a couple weeks ago it was a semi-nice day so we decided to take Jaiden to the Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium. Wow....what a difference a year and a half makes in how much he is interested in. The last time we took him he was 2 1/2 before we moved to the Tri-Cities. He was interested, but scared of a lot of the animals. NOW, he was running around, excited to see them all, asking questions, and EVEN rode the camel! We started at the Carosel....which he would not get on last time......
Spiderman pose!
SSSSLLLLIIIIIDDDDDE!
Our little performer....
OK, OK, OK....I know.....not even gonna apologize for this blog page. Just enjoy the cute pictures of the J-man!
He is such a goof! He loves the camera and attention from just about anybody. Another thing we did this year was join a church, Bethany Baptist. We signed Jaiden up for Awanas in the fall and he participated in Cubbies all year. He LOVED it! Here he is with his buddy Josiah (Heather's oldest) at the closing ceremonies in April.
He was such a card at the Cubbies performance. Dancing to the songs and jumping down the stairs...he was quite a sight! LOL! And after all the performances and awards, all the kids got hot dogs and hay rides!
He's been attending Kindercare this year (thanks to Grandma and Grandpa) and has really, really learned a lot. They do a really good job including preparing the kids for seasonal performances (usually 3 songs or poems that the kids perform for the parents). SO CUTE!! Above was the Spring Gala...the kids performed 3 songs.

Where has the time gone?
Seriously......the time has just flown by. In September I was consumed with finding a job. I found one at the end of the month in the Puyallup School District. In October I was consumed by getting to know my new job and the people I work with, as well as getting used to a new routine. Halloween has passed now and it's November 1st! WOW! Well...here are some pictures from the last month and a half......
